Thank You so much FleetCommand! Those green lines have really been annoying me, and I didn't have a clue why they were there, but now they're gone!

ok uninstalled Divx codec/ XVid codec and download Vista Codec has codec for both.  Now my whole menu shots are green.  with a red outline of a head or something in it from time to time.  mostly all green.   I'm sure it's probably a codec issue but it just started all of a sudden.  what should I do?

well I tried everything and couldn't figure it out.  Then I noticed it said something about codecs.  I already downloaded the vista codec.  Then in the vista search bar I typed "codec,"  I found it said dvxa codec enable or disable.  I enabled it and it fixed my green menu screens.  Just in case anyone ran into the same problems I did.  That fixed it by default it is disabled.  For some reason enabling it worked.

Sorry for bumping up such an old thread, but I have followed all the directions and still have the green bar problem, I have AVI files, and a 64 bit Vista computer and both shark codecs installed. Where do I go from here? All ready waisted about 10 discs dealing with this....
