Windows DVD Maker

Hi, I have read thru most of the threads trying to find what applies to my situation, but I have found none.

I have windows 7, found out that I had dvd maker. I love the simplicity and the menus, but when I try to make a dvd video from AVI (all that I have tried) I get NO sound on the dvd at all. I have NO clue why or what to do. I have unchecked the only filter that showed up in the compatibility box, but still NOTHING ANY ANY ANY help would be great. thanks in advance.

I have been having the same problem.
I have been burning dvds from avi files, and some of them will have audio, others will not!
The audio works when I play the file on my computer, but not from my DVD player.

I have been google searching this problem all day and can't seem to find a solution.
Let me know if you figure it out!

I've got the same problem. I've uninstalled all codec drives, the audio works in the preview, but not when you burn the DVD. Any help would be appreciated.
