    Dealing with interlaced footage

How does DVD Maker deal with interlaced footage? I've scoured the web for about an hour and no one has seemed to address the issue.

I tested it myself, and DVD Maker deinterlaced my footage (blended the fields) which I did not want. My source was NTSC-compliant 720x480, however the framerate was 30fps and not 29.97fps. So I'm guessing DVD Maker saw that, then immediately figured it wasn't NTSC and blended everything down to 30P.

I now have the file at 29.97fps, 720x480 interlaced, but I don't want to waste another DVD testing it. Can anyone here tell me if DVD Maker will keep my footage interlaced?

    Thanks,
    -Alvin
