    Problems with DVD Produced

I've used both Windows DVD Maker and Windows Movie Maker without an issue.  The problem occurs in the actual DVD that's produced.  Whether I'm burning individual .avi files or a compiled Windows Movie, the final DVD only works part-way through when played back on my computer or external DVD player.  At that point the avi files start to hesitate, pixelate or just skip.  I'm using .avi files taken with my digital camera so I'm not sure if that's part of the problem.  However, the fact that all of them play back fine on my computer AND will play back fine on portions of the DVD makes me doubt that that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas how to resolve or prevent this?  I'd really appreciate any input!

I'm having the same problem.  The dvd will be fine until it gets near the end, then comes skip to my lou premature end city.

I thought it might be my DVD players, but they're fine for other dvds...they just don't like the WindowsMovieMaker ones.

I dunno.  Thinking of trying a different authoring program.
