    Video Size.

    Okay.
So when I used to burn DVD's I'd have no issues with the size of the picture or anything.
According to Windows DVD Maker I'm in NSTC and 16:9. The way I want it.
But when I pop the DVD into my DVD player the picture is not 16:9 at all.
It's like, a perfect square, in the middle of television screen. Makes no sense at all.
    Help? Anyone?!

    Re: Video Size.

I  am having the same problem. First, I burned a video in 4:3 NTSC, and the picture was good, (not smushed or stretched)  Although it was a square in the middle of the screen. Then I burned another video in 16:9 just to see if it would change to widescreen and use up the width of the tv screen. But it was still a square box in the middle, AND the picture was vertically stretched ( everything was narrower and taller than it should be: unwatchable. So I burned the same video in 4:3, and it ended up exactly the same. vertically stretched, or horizontally squished, however you want to look at it, IT SUCKS. The menus for all videos are full screen and not smushed in any way. Can anyone tell me how to correct these problems?
