the spread of the internet, many investors have regarded online
commodity trading as being godsend while others regard it as being a
nightmare. There are many advantages and disadvantages to consider when
opting for online commodity trading.

Generally with
online commodity trading, a trader will be able to execute trades much
faster than is possible through a traditional broker. In addition,
commission charges are much lower with online commodity trading than
trading through the traditional offline or full-service broker, as the
overhead maintenance for an online brokerage is much lower than a
full-service broker’s office.

Another reason why
commission charges are much lower is because with online commodity
trading, most of the profit made by the online broker is through volume
of trade. Since the speed of execution of trades is much greater
through an online broker, this allows for a greater volume of trades to
be executed. This also allows the trader to have a wider range of
products and trading options where he can be profitable on his trading.

Online commodity trading is like a one-stop resource
centre. A trader will have virtually everything he needs when he logs
into his online trading account. He will have access to real time
quotes, various technical tools and software to help him decide what is
the best market position to be in when he is carrying out his trading
activities.

Nevertheless, with online commodity trading,
a trader is basically acting on his own. He will have no mentor or
actual advisor who will watch over his trading activities. With this
lack of guidance, it is only natural to expect that many traders will
be prone to repeating the same mistakes which eventually cost them
their “risk capital.” Having a mentor is crucial for traders who want
to improve their trading proficiency.

Another
disadvantage of online commodity trading is “overtrading”. Encouraged
by the low commission and the lack of guidance from a mentor, a trader
can easily find himself overtrading. There is a tendency for a trader
to deviate from his original trading strategy and switch to day trading
after he gets bored with holding a market position for a considerable
period of time. When this happens, it will be akin to gambling in a
casino.

Without discipline, online commodity trading can
burn a hole in your pocket. On the other hand, for those who adhere
strictly to their trading strategies, online commodity trading can be a
lucrative venture.

thanks!!

_________________
online commodity trading
can windows dvd maker be used to copy store bought dvds?

ok, im not too computer literate and am a win dvd maker noob. i figured out how to use the program with home movies taken from my camera, but would like to know if i can burn dvd's. can win dvd maker decrypt the dvds i want to burn? if none of the above, what program would you suggest? nero burning rom?

How to convert AVI to MP4 on Mac OS X?

Many Mac users have some interesting movies in AVI format, or some family AVI footage from camcorder like Cannon, Sony, Panasonic, or AVI videos from internet. We have a Sony camcorder.

We would like every play to become a chapter on the DVD as it makes navigating through the plays very easy. However, we would like the top level menu to only have 3 scenes (offense, defense, and specials) which would be pointers to the first play of that type on the DVD.

With the Sony PMB software, each play is a chapter when I burn a DVD.
I made a movie with windows moviemaker (pictures-show). I set the option to 16:9. When I look at the example it looks fine. I then publish my movie to DVD. In DVD maker I see that it is also set to 16:9. The example is also fine. When I watch the DVD on my widescreen TV, the pictures are stretched because the DVD is in 4:3.

Windows DVD Maker
2. Virtual CD v9
3. DVD Shrink 3.2
4. ImgBurn
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Set up/install the following programs and Set up Virtual CD to include a virtual burner.

2. In Windows DVD maker you will select the virtual burner as the output.

3. In the system tray of Virtual CD tell it (right click) to create and insert a DVD-R/+R/+R DL (one of the three depending
on your actual media, try to match it. If the movie runs greater than 150 minutes you will have to use the DVD+R DL)

3. Finish the creation in Windows DVD Maker as you normally would.

4. When it is finished creating the image you will then insert it into the virtual drive, and run DVD Shrink.

5. Using DVD Shrink you will make a Backup (DVD image) that has compatibility with older DVD players. (As well as shrink
a Dual Layer disk to a Single Layer Size if needed)

6. When finished you can right click the output Backup (DVD image) and tell your computer to burn using ImgBurn.

7. CLEANUP
When the burning has finished go and clean up.
Left click system tray of Virtual CD going to cd management and delete the image files.
Go to the folder with the back up made by DVD Shrink and delete those as well.

Any Questions feel free to ask, this took me a bit to figure out myself (as vcd burning hasnt been implemented yet)

-omnipressant
