Windows DVD Maker

Hi,

Windows DVD Maker always crashes when I push the "next" button.  I get this

I have Windows Vista 32 bit fully updated.  I have installed the suggested Vista Codec 4.5 pack, the K-Lite pack, and some Roxio stuff that came pre-installed with my laptop.  I'm assuming I need to remove some codec, but I'd like some input before I start deleting them randomly.

It would be great if someone who has Windows DVD maker working could post their codec list up also.  To see your codec list: start windows media player, right click on the top black bar towards the top, Help ---> About Windows Media Player ---> Technical Support Information.  This should pop up your browser with a list codecs amongst other things.

Note: I have tried adding .wmv .mpg .avi (divx, xvid, Microsoft Video 1, uncompressed) at various resolutions and aspect ratios.

Same thing happens to me. Just started recently. Did you get your problem solved?

I'd love to just reinstall it... but MS doesn't offer it as a download.

I really liked the program too. Bummer.
