Windows DVD Maker

Hi all, I'm at my wits end with windows dvd maker. It NEVER works - at the moment it gets to about 4% before saying there's an error, without of course saying what the error is or how to fix it.

I know you've heard all this before, but seeing as Windows won't, can anyone else help? I have a Toshiba laptop, Windows Vista.

It is very likely that there is a compatibility problem with your source files.  Both Windows Movie Maker and DVD Maker are particular about the kinds of source files they will work with.  Have a look at this URL to see if your file types or codecs are listed.  You may need to convert your source files to a compatible type before using DVD Maker.
