How do I stop WDM putting one minute chapters in videos?

    Hi there,

This is my first post, so sorry if this has already been answered in another thread.  If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Here is my problem.  I am using WDM to make a compilation of music videos that I own, but when I burn the DVD and play it in my DVD player, WDM seems to have put a new chapter into each music video every 60 seconds.  So if I click 'next' on my remote, it just goes to 1:00 in the current video, then 2:00, then 3:00, then after that it will go to the next video (providing the music video was under 4 minutes long).

I was hoping that there is a way to stop WDM doing this, but having clicked on every option available, it doesn't seem that there is.  Am I missing something in the options?  If not then perhaps someone could suggest a cheap DVD burning package that will not create chapters every minute throughout the DVD.

While I can't claim to understand the DVD Maker chapter-making-algorithm, I
found this information to be of some help:

    http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/f605df6c-0dfe-4f6c-b8e2-866d8cb362251033.mspx#E6F

-- 'How are scenes created for my DVD?"

I also copied this from an earlier entry in another newsgroup:

“DVD Maker: The Best way to do Chapter breaks. Since you are working in
Movie Maker anyway, (and as I understand it, you are splitting videos where
you want the chapters) simply save each chapter as its OWN .MSWMM file
(movie project) load them into DVD maker in proper order and each project
will be its own 'chapter' under the 'scenes' menu. From my knowledge, I do
this when burning TV series, DVD maker still split each 'scene' into more
chapters, the 'scenes' menu will show the splits you made with the
    individual .MSWMM files.”

Not complete I know, but hope this helps.
