    Question about burning files

Simple question i have. When i make my movie i first edit it in Windows movie maker then save it to a folder on an external hard drive then it adds it to the Windows DVD maker i customize the menu and everything but what i was wondering is since i saved the project on my external hard drive, if i un plug that external hard drive will it continue to burn the DVD without any problems?

    Re: Question about burning files

From your description, I do not think you will be able to burn your DVD.  DVD Maker won't be able to find your video files if the drive they are on is disconnected.

    Re: Question about burning files

Video commonly refers to several storage formats for moving pictures: digital video formats, including Blu-ray Disc, DVD, QuickTime, and MPEG-4; and analog videotapes, including VHS and Betamax. Video can be recorded and transmitted in various physical media: in magnetic tape when recorded as PAL or NTSC electric signals by video cameras, or in MPEG-4 or DV digital media when recorded by digital cameras.
