Movie Maker -> Dvd Maker problem

I have made a movie on Windows Movie Maker and when i select publish, i say for playback on my dvd or computer. it takes me to Windows Dvd Maker and i do everything but my laptop freezes at about 3.4% every time. the movie lasts 57 mins and the dvd im using to put it on is DVD+R 1-8x speed (store up to 4.7 GB of data or up to 2 hours of tv/video recording) Please help!

Now it is saying it cannot add the file to dvd maker from movie maker because of deleted or missing source files... ?????

Your first issue certainly sounds like a codec compatibility issue.  Check the blog on this site http://www.windowsdvdmaker.com/blogs/dvdmaker/archive/2007/04/02/161.aspx (as well as a few of the threads on this site for similarities to your problem)

Your second issue sounds like you may have either MOVED; RENAMED; or DELETED one or more of the files that you initially used - if it can't find even ONE of the files you initially used, it could give you this message.

Video commonly refers to several storage formats for moving pictures: digital video formats, including Blu-ray Disc, DVD, QuickTime, and MPEG-4; and analog videotapes, including VHS and Betamax. Video can be recorded and transmitted in various physical media: in magnetic tape when recorded as PAL or NTSC electric signals by video cameras, or in MPEG-4 or DV digital media when recorded by digital cameras.
