Windows DVD Maker

I have Windows Ultimate with Moviemaker and dvdMaker purchased this year. No probs, making and burning projects, wonderful. Last weekend I was doing a little housekeeping and deleted some files that were, I think, in "My Music". These were displayed as Empty Folders under "Unknown Artist" and sub folders named "Uknown Album" which I had noticed there for some while and figured they were unnecessary. Some had music files that I recognised but there were these empty folders also. I'm not sure of the order of events but on the same day I received some Windows Updates which were successful. Since this day and chain of events I have not been able to open projects that were previously ok, opened and burned successfully. If I make a new project and "Add Files" and don't click "Next" in order to alter the menu etc. there is no problem opening the project again. If I type just one character or simply alter anything in that part of the "Menu" program, then save and exit, the project is unopenable upon return. It displays the following error message:

Error Loading DVD Maker project file. The Menu Audio file is not accessible. The setting has been cleared.

I think these files I deleted may be the problem, Please see the Post about this by Chickenhead. He's a good friend of mine and first asked the question and subsequently received a possible fix. However, I tried this and the problem still continues. Is there a way of reinstalling dvdmaker only? Or am I going to have to ask my good friend to reinstall the whole setup?
