DVD Maker burns the video but the audil is missing

I am trying to burn an avi file to a DVD using DVD Maker. I can view and listen to the file when I play the file on my computer. However, when I burn the file to a DVD the video is burned to the DVD but there is no sound. Any ideas on how to get the video and audio to burn?
